DecarbYou is an online carbon footprint calculation and reporting platform developed for Infinite Pure Solutions d.o.o. (IPS). The goal was to make carbon footprint assessment more accessible by guiding users through the required data, calculating emissions and generating structured reports through a simple web-based tool.
// THE PROBLEM
Carbon footprint calculation can be complex and time-consuming. Companies need to collect data from different parts of their operations, understand how it should be categorized and convert it into meaningful emissions results.
IPS wanted to simplify this process and create a digital tool that would allow users to perform carbon footprint calculations without relying on spreadsheets or manually preparing reports.
The challenge was to transform the underlying carbon accounting methodology into a clear and intuitive digital workflow. Designing an easy and clean user experience from a complex process was the main challenge in this project.

We developed DecarbYou.com, a custom web application that guides users through the carbon footprint calculation process step by step.
Users enter the relevant company and activity data through a structured interface. The platform processes this information using predefined calculation logic, presents the resulting carbon footprint and generates a report that can be used for further analysis and communication.
A key focus of the custom software development was making a technically complex process understandable and manageable for users who are not carbon-accounting specialists.
